Orientation: Orine hasn't really shown any interest in the romance department in canon. But, if you were to ask her, she would probably say that she's heterosexual. She could arguably be bisexual or pansexual, though. As what she really wants in canon is to know that she isn't alone in the world. So, as long as they loved her and the feelings were mutual, the gender wouldn't really matter to her.

"If my dancing sucks, then I'll practice longer and harder than the others. If they say I'm wishy-washy, then I'll hold my head high from now on. The haters scare me, but in a way they're kind."
Orine is that girl you always assume to be the shy type. She's usually behind or hiding behind her two more outgoing best friends. Although she does make exaggerated hand motions and expressions when flustered or embarrassed. So it's natural to assume that there's not much more to her outside being a normal girl.
So, it can come as a surprise, when Orine shows herself to be the most thoughtful one in her group of friends. Always one to point out the things that might have slipped from the other girls thoughts, Orine is much more than just a simple girl who can be seen behind her friends.
For starters, Orine is a very kind and caring individual. She worries about her friends, rejoices happily with them when they're happy, and ultimately what matters the most to her is her friends. Heck, she didn't join AKB for the sake of being an idol, but rather to be idols and reach for their dreams together with her friends.
Basically, the biggest thing about Orine is that she is extremely loyal. She'll be there to support her friends when they're heartbroken, worried, or sad. She loves talking silly with her friends about simple things even. She's willing to help a friend with whatever trouble they may face. This is probably why at oftentimes when her friends are in arguments she tries to cool the flames at much as she can.
Orine's heart is full of love, kindness, and loyalty towards those she cares about.
One might wonder, then, where does all this love and loyalty come from? The answer probably goes all the way back to when she was a child. When she was young, Orine was basically extremely easy to scare. Even back then she always hid behind her friends. Probably even more so than she does now. But, that changed, when her father who was a mine worker died during his work. This left her family to only two members, Orine and her mother. Unfortunately, even her mother died seemingly not too long later due to sickness.
Thus, Orine had become an orphan. She had to work to make a living for herself and she couldn't attend school like a normal child her age could. It's because of this that Orine had to mature faster than one normally would. Despite this, she tried to live optimistically. Working at the factory, with her co-workers, and still having her two best friends made things much easier on her.
There's no denying, though that Orine was an extremely lonely girl. That's probably where a lot of her kindness and loyalty toward people comes from.
However, the hugest hurdle that she ever had to face was her first encounter with a "Hater." For Orine, who had grown up with a small amount of loneliness in her heart, being noticed by others was something she always longed for. She feared being left behind.
"You know how my parents are gone, right? Luckily, I had wonderful friends like you and Yuuka, and the ladies at the factory were so nice to me. Even so, I still couldn't shake the thought... that nobody was really watching me."
That's why after the first "fan letter" she received was actually a threat letter she became extremely shocked and it made her falter. It was likely the first time that Orine had encountered someone who hated her so much to the point that they would threaten her with violence. She couldn't really seem to grasp her head around the idea of why someone would hate someone so much that they would want her hurt. It also made her question whether she was truly deserving of being in AKB.
But, at a handshaking event, where she shakes hands with a fan for the first, Orine realized just how much she loved AKB0048 and being an idol. That's why, when she encounters her hater in person, she resolves to protect him. She realizes that she's not perfect and that there's still a lot that she needs to learn.
She realized haters are scary, but at the same time they will also help her learn and grow. In his own way, her first hater had also loved AKB0048 along with sharing the same favorite member of the group that she did, Sachiko. Even if she messes up along the way, she can learn from what the haters say even if they are a bit scary. This experience taught her that the haters have a gentle and kind side to them.
After this experience, Orine becomes much more determined and more courageous. Even while the handshaking even had been attacked by the anti-entertainment group, DES, she was one of the first to jump in to try to protect the fans. This shows that, despite how on first impressions Orine might seem like someone who is weak, but she's actually an extremely strong girl underneath that is determined to do the best she possibly can.
Especially, when she realizes that the machines she had been building at home were actually weapons, Orine remains resolved. Admittedly, she does falter at the idea of hurting the weapon she worked so lovingly on, but in the end her determination to follow her dreams with AKB0048 pulled her through.
Overall, despite seemingly being a shy girl, Orine is a sweet, caring, and determined person. A friend who will always be there to support you through and through.
Abilites: Completely normal human. Aside from that, she worked for a factor before where she helped build things. She ended up learning how to tinker with things because of it.
Also, since joining 0048, she's practiced singing and dancing a lot. So she's developed skills in that area as well. Definitely not to the professional degree yet since she's still a beginner, but she's still gotten pretty good at it.

Hello, everyone. Recently, I think I'm starting to get settled in a bit better. I'm really grateful to how nice everyone has been to me but...
[ The people in this house weren't her real parents. They died a long time ago. Which isn't to say that she felt ungrateful to them for their kindness but it just didn't feel right. So, she thought, that she should at least do something to help out as much as she can. ]
Back at home, I used to work in a machine building factory. I really liked working with the machinery and tinkering with things so... If you ever need anything fixed then I can help with that. You don't need to pay or anything either I just... I want to be able to help out in anyway I can.
[ She thinks for a bit before typing in another message. She needs to keep up with her dancing and singing too. So she can't slack off. ]
I was also wondering but is there any empty places with room that don't mind loud music? Or is there anyone who wouldn't mind letting me use a room? I have something I need to practice for so... I promise I won't cause you any problems. If there's anyone who can help me out with this then I would be really grateful.

Third Person:
This is the first time she thought that she has gotten used to how vigorous and difficult the practices with AKB. Now that, she's here and not there with no way back, maybe she became a bit of a workaholic?
No, it's definitely not that...
She thinks to herself. Honestly, it's just that she's used to working and doing something that requires tiring herself out most of the time. She's definitely not against breaks and relaxing. For example, going to karaoke and practicing AKB songs with everyone on their off day was fun. She liked hanging out with her friends and doing things with them. It was one of the things that she wished she could have done back on Lancastar. Going to school, hanging out with her friends after school, talking about silly things, about AKB0048... It's normal for a girl her age. But making a living for herself without parents was her priority back then.
So, why is it that she seems to have found herself cleaning the yard? No one in the house had really told her to do so. So, why is it that with all the free time she has now, her first thought was to work. It's not that she doesn't like working. She likes working, practicing, tinkering with machines, and things like that. But, she wonders if it would be considered strange by others close to her age? She can't help and wonder to herself as she works.
The answer is pretty simple, though. One, she came to enjoy practicing the songs and dancing no matter how difficult they were. Two, she enjoys being able to help in any small way she can. And, three? She misses her friends.
Working is actually a way to take her mind off things. Ever since she started to work at the factory, and maybe even before that, it became a habit. Would this be considered a bad habit by others? The ladies back at the factory praised her hard work, but it wasn't really something she considered deserving of praise.
She just did what she could and enjoyed doing it. If she's going to be here for a while, then she thinks that she should do what she can and improve herself even further. Help out around the house, don't cause anyone trouble, and continue practicing AKB's songs and dances.
